This layer is intended for use in the Wisconsin PFAS Interactive Data Viewer GIS mapping application, use for any other purpose should be done with caution to avoid misuse or misinterpretation of information contained in this layer.  Please seek appropriate DNR staff support.This layer represents areas where Wisconsin DNR has issued consumption advice relating to PFAS in non-aquatic species. Aquatic species (fish) consumption advice exists in the SWIMS database. This layer may be replaced at a future date if a DNR program database becomes the storehouse for such data.This layer was created in August 2020 with coordination of EM, FWP, and DHS to create the deer liver advisory in the Marinette/Peshtigo area relating to PFAS. If additional non-aquatic advice areas are added for PFAS compounds they will be included in this layer.
