Students who qualify for free/reduced lunch may apply to have their classroom and behind-the-wheel driver training for a Class D (Regular) driver license paid for through the Driver Education Grant Program. DMV will be issuing up to $6 million in grant funding on a first-come-first serve basis until funding is depleted. Each applicant receives two coupons (one for classroom and one for behind-the-wheel training). Applicants then give the coupons to driver training providers to redeem. Funds are paid directly from DMV to the driver training providers. This map shows the location of applicants in the program as well as the location of driver training providers that have received funds.
