- These data layers represent zoning for Outagamie County, Wisconsin in 2018. It is a feature class within the geodatabase Outagamie_Zoning_2018.gdb. The feature layers included in this geodatabase are "Outagamie_Airport_2018", "Outagamie_General_2018", and "Outagamie_Shoreland_2018".Airport: [This feature class was derived off of the 1990 Zoning Ordinance Z-16-90. This ordinance covers airport property, the airport industrial park and the airport overylay districts. Zone 3A was created in March of 2012.]General: [This is a polygon geodatabase depicting the local zoning of parcels under Outagamie County Zoning jurisdiction. Outagamie County created new zoning maps for the areas of the County that have exclusive agriculture zoning that are under County jurisdiction. The County also updated the text of the County Zoning Ordinance to meet requirements enforced by DATCP to meet requirements of chapter 91 of the Wisconsin State Statutes dealing with farmland preservation starting in 2013.]Shoreland: [This is a polygon dataset identifying the location of all navigable water buffers within Outagamie County. It is a county-wide file including all USGS designated navigable waterways.]
- Purpose
- This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. Airport: [This data was created to asssist governmental agencies and other in making resource management decisions through the use of a Geographic Information System (GIS).] General: [This dataset was created to be used to identify the local zoning in areas of Outagamie County Zoning jurisdiction as well as the ability to be "linked" to the tax listing database using the PIN as the unique identifier or link.] Shoreland: [This dataset was created by the Outagamie County Planning Zoning Department to represent a 300 foot buffer of navigable waterway within Outagamie County. Any development within this 300 foot buffer requires a CONDITIONAL USE permit by the Outagamie County.]
