Abstract
This point data layer represents buildings/structures for Shawano County, Wisconsin in 2025.[The building points are utilized for general mapping purposes and emergency services to locate the primary structure on a given parcel. The points were placed using the Planning, Development, and Zoning department's address permit forms, and the 2015 orthophotos. Some points were placed with prior orthophotos or placed at the best possible estimate for new construction.]
Purpose
This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [Building point features placed on the primary structure for general mapping and emergency services.]
