This data represents parks for Dane County, Wisconsin in 2025. [This dataset is intended to provide a comprehensive collection of the public land in Dane County, Wisconsin. The data is derived from the tax parcel data and updated at least twice a year. Some public lands have complex partnerships and boundaries. An effort is made to as accurately, as possible, depict the public access, but may not be correctly represented.]
Purpose
This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [This dataset provides a representation of the various public lands in Dane County, Wisconsin.]
