- Data collected for Next Generation 911 inventory efforts, 2020. [This digital geospatial dataset was originally a product of Jackson County's conversion to E911, which took place between 1997-1998. GeoComm was the vendor chosen by the Jackson County E911 Steering Committee to develop all required E911 geospatial datasets, as well as the Master Street Address Guide (MSAG). GeoComm was founded in 1995 to provide county governments with turnkey emergency 9-1-1 development services. GeoComm continues to be a leading provider of Public Safety GIS Industry Solutions. It has been the practice of the Jackson County Land Information Department to regularly adjust, correct, update, add, merge, or remove emergency service zones as new emergency response contracts are negotiated, amended, or as agencies disband.]
