Abstract
This data layer represents Emergency Medical Service (EMS) response districts in Vernon County, Wisconsin in 2020. [This data set consists of digital data depicting the emergency service zones (ESZ) for Vernon County, Wisconsin. The ESZ location were created by overlaying the Ambulance, Fire Department, First Responder, and Jaws, emergency service maps and assign an Emergency Service Number to each unique combination. The zones are used to organize and dispatch emergency services to Vernon County, Wisconsin.]
Purpose
This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [The ESZ feature class provides a digital representation of the emergency response zones for 911 services to the public. The ESZ feature class is intended to be used to enhance 911 services within Vernon County.]
