Abstract
These data layers represent nonmetallic mining permits and mining reclamation permits for Monroe County, Wisconsin in 2018. It is a feature class within the geodatabase, "Monroe_Mine_Permits_2018.gdb". The feature layers included in this geodatabase are "Monroe_Nonmetallic_Mine_Permits_Active_Acres_2018" and "Monroe_Nonmetallic_Mining_Reclamation_Permits_2018". [The polygons in this layer represent the tax parcels included in nonmetallic mining reclamation permits. The permitted acreage is the acreage of the parcels. The active acres is the acreage currently being mined. The status field shows the status as active, inactive, reclaimed, or cancelled due to no mining activity. Material mined is coded as limestone, frac sand, fill sand, topsoil.]
