Abstract
This data layer represents Fire Department response districts in Lincoln County, Wisconsin in 2020.[This data set consists of digital data depicting the emergency service zones for Lincoln County, Wisconsin. ESZ locations were obtained provided by Lincoln County Land Information Office and is a combination of political city, town, and village boundaries and zip code bondaries. The zones are used to organize and dispatch emergency services to Lincoln County, Wisconsin. The Lincoln County Land Information Office plans to maintain this digital data in geodatabase format in an ESRI ArcSDE environment using ArcMap tools.]
Purpose
This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [This data set was created as a foundational element for the Lincoln County Land Information System. The ESZ feature class provides a digital representation of the emergency response zones for 911 services to the public. The ESZ feature class is intended to be used to enhance 911 services within Lincoln County.]
