This data represents addresses for Brown County, Wisconsin in 2024.[This point layer (feature class) depicts addressed structures and common places in Brown County, Wisconsin. Address points are generally placed on the structure rooftop or, in the case of larger buildings, near the addressed doorway/structure access. Most addressed structures in this feature class are building structures, but address points and/or common names are also assigned to landmarks or other points of reference used by 911 dispatch and others. Address numbers are assigned by municipal addressing administrators and provided to Brown County for inclusion in this countywide database.]
Purpose
This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [This address point layer contains the x/y location of addressed structures as well as landmarks and other common names/places within all of Brown County Wisconsin.]
