Abstract
This polygon data layer represents land use for Buffalo County, Wisconsin in 2018. It is a feature class within the geodatabase, Buffalo_LandUse_2018.gdb.[The zoning classification are defined at the parcel level, but may not fully correspond with parcel boundaries.]
Purpose
This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [Many features were created without the accuracy of cadastral parcel mapping. Therefore, this feature class should be used solely as a general representation of the current zoning districts within Buffalo County. This dataset incorporates both county and city administered zoning districts. All districts have been categorized to reflect County Zoning Classification (See ZONEDESC).]
