This data set is a point shapefile of centroids of Public Land Survey System (PLSS) units ranging from Townships to Quarter-Quarter-Sections. The data are derived from the Wisconsin DNR's 'Landnet' database, automated from 1:24,000-scale sources.In December, 2016, GIS Section staff corrected erroneous Landnet code values in points contributing to errors in landnet quarter quarter NESE3342N14W
